Analysis and Evaluation of Communication Policy

Project Description

Review and analysis of existing Communication sector related policies, strategies and their implementation; deviation in policy and implementation aspect; the adequacy of existing acts, rules and regulations, guidelines and findings of any shortcomings; review whether regional coordination on crosscutting issues has taken place; findings of any gaps and lacuna between policy and work programme, work programme and basis for implementation, communication policy and other regional policies; suggestions in consolidated action to improve the policy, acts and work programmes.

Assignment Description

To analyze and review the implementation aspects of existing policy for communication sector. • To analyze if programs are in tune with policy objectives • To see the adequacy of existing acts, rules & regulations, guidelines for implementation of policy and find the short comings. • To review whether regional coordination has been done to implement crosscutting issues. • To find any gaps and lacuna between policy and work programs, work program and strategy for implementation, communications policy and other regional & sectoral policies. • To suggest integrated approach to be taken for improvement of policy aspects, provision of acts and laws, implementation of programs etc.
