Analysis and Evaluation of Electricity Policy

Project Description

This study is done to analyze and review the existing electricity policy, rules and regulations associated with it, the implementation strategy, the work plans, and find any short comings and coordination problem and subsequently to suggest the remedial measures to be taken.

Assignment Description

Analyse and review the existing policy and strategy for electricity sector keeping in views the implementation aspects; • See any deviation in policy and implementation aspects; • See the adequacy of existing act, rules and regulations, guidelines and find any shortcomings; • Review whether regional co-ordination on crosscutting issues has taken place; • Find any gaps and lacuna between policy & work programme, work programme & basis for implementation, management and co-ordination; and • Suggest consolidated actions to improve the policy, acts and work programmes.
