The USAID’s Knowledge-based Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition (KISAN) Project aims to sustainably reduce poverty and hunger in Nepal by achieving inclusive growth in the agriculture sector and increasing the income of farm families. USAID/Nepal will implement the project over five-year period in 20 districts of Western, Mid-western & Far-Western Region) Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Kanchanpur, Doti, Achham, Kailali, Dailekh, Surkhet, Bardiya, Banke, Rukum, Jajarkot, Salyan, Rolpa, Dang, Pyuthan, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Kapilbastu and Palpa

Assignment Description

Develop a Data Entry System in MS Access to enter data of Baseline Survey and Result Survey for FY 2014, of the 20 KISAN targeted districts • Carry out pre-data entry and post-data entry data quality control • Carry out the data entry of Baseline Survey 960 questionnaires and Results Survey 960 HH questionnaires and 240 organization questionnaires for Baseline and Result Survey • Data Analysis and Report generation based on the data and following indicators of FTFMS reporting No. Indicators 4.5(16)* Gross margin per hectare of selected product 4.5.2.8(x) Total quantity of targeted nutrient-rich value chain commodities set aside for home consumption by direct beneficiary producer households 4.5.2(29)* Value of agricultural and rural loans 4.5.2(2)* Number of hectares of land under improved technologies or management practices as a result of USG assistance 4.5.2(5)* Number of farmers and others who have applied improved technologies or management practices as a result of USG assistance 4.5.2(23)* Value of incremental sales (collected at farm-level) attributed to FTF implementation 4.5.2(38)* Value of new private sector investment in the agriculture sector or food chain leveraged by FTF implementation 4.5.2(42)* Number of private enterprises, producers organizations, water users associations, women’s groups, trade and business associations and community-based organizations (CBOs) that applied improved technologies or management practices as a result of USG assistance (RiA)
