Climate Change – National Program and Country Status Study Project

Project Description

The objective of this study is to prepare National Program and Country Status Study Project in relation to Climate change, which includes review of convention documents, existing situation and compliance by Nepal and recommendation on changes in policy and acts followed by action plan with recourses requirements.

Assignment Description

Review of the framework Convention. • Study of works done in other countries. • Study of climate policy in other countries. • Review of local documents such as Nepal Environmental policy and action plan I and II; eight Five-year plan and Ninth five year plan. • Find out the basis for the estimation of greenhouse gases.
