Combating Desertification-National Program and country Status Study

Project Description

The objective of this study is to prepare National Program and Country Status Study Project in relation to desertification, which includes review of convention documents, existing situation and compliance by Nepal and recommendation on changes in policy and acts followed by action plan with recourses requirements.

Assignment Description

Identify the factors contributing to desertification. • To devise practical measures necessary to combat desertification and mitigate the effects of drought. • Review of convention documents. • Review of Policy documents. • Study of desertification in regional and national. • Review of works done in Thar Desert African Countries.
