Gutu-Bijaura-Lagaam Road, Surkhet (65.28 Km): The proposed road Gutu-Bijaura-Lagaam Road, Surkhet starts at Gutu, Bijaura, Betan, Lagaam, Dansen and ends at Benighat, Surkhet District. The total length of this section is 65.28 km. Total Project Cost is NRs. 3,445.90 million.
Shaigau-Manikpur Road, Banke (21.82 Km): The proposed road Shaigau-Manikpur Road Section, Banke starts at Shaigau, Belbhar, Indrapur, and ends at Manikpur Chowk, Banke District. The total length of this section is 21.82 Km. Total Project Cost is NRs. 638.51 million.
The objectives of the project is to prepare Detailed Project Report of full length of all two Project Road based on detailed design and total cost for construction; preparation of detailed engineering survey and design of Road (excluding bridges), Social and environmental and Economical aspect and develop implementation plan of the Project.

Assignment Description

Review existing reports, standards and specification of the road sector related to assignment • Review and Update existing Report and detail design Reports previously carried out. • Detail Engineering survey, Detailed Design of road alignment and their corridors considering road safety. • Conduct hydrological studies for cross drainage works and purpose the suitable cross drainage structures • Carry out traffic surveys and project the traffic volume for 20 years period • Choose economically feasible pavement type within the study corridor including design of the road detail with pavement types • Carried out detail engineering design of road using computer Aided Design (CAD) Software. • Identify sources of construction materials of appropriate quality, determine the quantities of material permitted to be taken from different source. • Wherever required on technical ground, recommend for improvement on alignment • Prepare working drawings in AutoCAD. • Prepare cost estimates with analysis of rates, contract Packaging and tender document preparation. • Prepare Detail survey and design reports with necessary drawings. • Prepare Detail survey and design reports with necessary drawings. • Prepare Detailed Project Report for complete Road Length.
