The road starts from Khurkot of Sindhuli at right bank of Sunkoshi and passes through confluence of Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi and ends at Manthali. The surveyed road length is 7.00 kms. The road mostly follows steep sloping terrain and doesn’t pass through any active landslide and soil erosive zones. The road has been designated as District Road Class III in accordance with traffic flow. The road is designed as surface treated semi-grouting single lane 6.0 road formation width, 3.5 m carriageway width and 1.25 m shoulder width. The crosses Sunkoshi and a major bridge of 90m span are proposed. The objective of the road is to connect two district headquarters of Sindhuli and Ramechhap.
