Detailed Design for Upgrading of Highway to Blacktop Standard including review of existing road corridor and Detailed Engineering Survey, Design, Preparation of Contract Packages Document & Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) was carried out for the Project Road. Jorsal – Tamor – Sakranti – Maglung Sectors are sections of Puspalal (Mid Hill) Highway having length of 103.10km. link connects Phidim & Maglung The road links Eastern Development eastern hilly region with capital city Kathmandu. 2 bridges along with Tamor Bridge; which is under construction, is to be constructed on this section. Link connects Jorsal, Majhitar, Chuhandanda, Iwa, Sakranti, Dandagaun, Ishubu, Halimela & Maglung. The objectives of the project is to carry out review of existing road and its corridor, detailed engineering survey and design of highway including pavement design, slope stabilization and bio-engineering works and other structures, preparation of contract packages document and preparation of detailed project report (DPR) of three mentioned road sections. Total project cost: NRs. 5,812.25 million
