The main objective of this service is to carryout the detailed engineering design of an integrated irrigation system combining the existing three major farmer managed irrigation schemes (in Terai area) to be served by single permanent intake (headworks) structure. The project plans to develop a total net command area of 20,305 ha in the eastern part of the district with the active participation of the farmers and WUAs by adopting participatory approach. The estimated cost of system development is about NPR 8.1 billion (USD 113 million)
