Detailed Engineering Survey, Design, Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) was carried out for the Project Road. Ghyampeshal- Nimel-Khahare (Daraudi Khola)-Nayasangu-Masanepati-Palungtar-Chepe-Dhamilikuwa-Tarkughat-Paudidhik Sectors are sections of Puspalal (Mid Hill) Highway having length of 51.0 km. The objectives of the project is to carry out review of existing road and its corridor, detailed engineering survey and design of highway including pavement design and other structures, preparation of contract packages document and preparation of detailed project report (DPR) of mentioned road sections. Assignment Description

Review existing reports, standards and specification of the road sector related to assignment • Review and existing road/ Road Inventory Survey of its corridor. • Consultation with concerned Division Road offices, and other concerned offices for information/data collection. • Detailed engineering survey of the alignment and its corridor (Road length 26.0 km) • Prepare the topographical map of the corridor • Conduct hydrological studies for cross drainage works and purpose the suitable cross drainage structures • Geotechnical survey/investigation including soil investigation and material survey • Carry out traffic study and analysis • Hydrological and environmental study • Geometric and Pavement (DBST) Design of the Road • Design of other road structures such as cross drainage structure, longitudinal drains, retaining structures, road furniture, road safety structures and bio-engineering works • Cost Estimate including quantity survey and rate analysis • Preparation of contract packages and bid documents • Prepare Detailed Project Report for complete Road Length 51.0 Km.
