Project Description

Detailed Engineering Survey, Design, Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) was carried out for the Project Road (1) Sukute Chapagaun Mildadal Thokarpa Shramthali (15.68Km), Sindhupalchowk, Dolkha, (2) Salyantar Agnichowk Belung Bhanjyang Gumdi Sadak (14.70 Km), Dhading, (3). Thumpakha Ga. Wi. Sha Ko Barha Kilo Timmure Sadak (11.75 Km), Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, (4) Goltar Kartike Bhadaure Sudhame Sadak (16.00 Km), Sindhuli, (5) Tinpiple Waluwa Boredhobhan Sadak (6.00 Km), Kabhre; (6) Bhaise Mahendra Jyoti Panauti Khopasi Falametar Taldhunga Karmaiya Sadak (44.00 Km), (7). Hariwon Na. Pa. Chakrapath (15.03 Km), Sarlahi. The objectives of the project is to carry out review of existing road and its corridor, detailed engineering survey and design of highway including pavement design and other structures, preparation of contract packages document and preparation of detailed project report (DPR) of mentioned road sections.

Assignment Description

Review existing reports, standards and specification of the road sector related to assignment • Review and Update existing report and detail design reports previously carried out. • Detailed engineering survey of the alignment and its corridor (1) Sukute Chapagaun Mildadal Thokarpa Shramthali, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha -15.68 km (2) Salyantar Agnichowk Belung Bhanjyang Gumdi Sadak Dhading-14.70 km (3). Thumpakha Ga. Wi. Sha Ko Barha Kilo Timimire Sadak, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha - 11.70 km (4) Goltar Kartike Bhadaure Sudhame Sadak, Sindhuli - 16.00 km (5) Tinpiple Waluwa Boredhobhan Sadak Kavre 6.00 km (6)Bhaise Mahendra Jyoti Panauti Khopasi Falametar Taldhunga Karmaiya Sadak 44.00 km (7). Chakrapath, Sarlahi -15 .03 km • Conduct detailed hydrological studies for cross drainage works and propose the suitable cross drainage structures • Carry out traffic surveys and project the traffic volume for 20 years period • Conduct pavement investigation works for pavement design works • Choose economically feasible pavement type within the study corridor including design of the road detail with pavement types • Identify sources of construction materials of appropriate quality, determine the quantities of material permitted to be taken from different source • Conduct Environmental and Social Study and prepare the respective Report • Wherever required on technical aspects, recommend for improvement on alignment • Prepare detail working drawings in AutoCAD • Prepare detail cost estimates with analysis of rates, contract packaging and tender document preparation • Prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR) for complete Road Stretches included in the package.
