• Scopes for works under master planning stage (Part 1):
• Review and update the envisaged minimum facilities at the ICD/ICP, based on feasibility and other study, conduct necessary land surveys, fix boundaries based on land ownership certificate and cadastral map, conduct geological survey to help in carrying out proper landscaping and prepare a master plan of the whole area. At least three alternative master plans are to be prepared to identify the best suitable plan, The masterplan for the ICD/ICP should be in the form of a phase-wise development plan phase I(10 years), Phase II (20 years) and phase III (30 years) in such a way that it include detail design of all phases
• Scopes for works under detail design stage (Part 2):
• Conduct necessary subsoil investigation and hydrology study to carry out the detailed design of infrastructures and pavement works for ICD/ICP, Conduct the detailed design of all the necessary infrastructures required for a complete and fully operational ICD/ICP with essential components and an aesthetic landscaping, Determine the appropriate pavement structure for internal circulatory roads, storage areas, parking areas within the ICD/ICP and any realignment of road. Specify and design such realignment, pavements and structures, prepare detailed design, drawings, specifications, derive quantities, unit rates, abstract of costs and the bidding document.
Main Project Features:
Location: ICD/ICP site is located adjacent to Nepal-China border (24 number pillar) at Korola, Mustang at an altitude of 4470m above mean sea level with temperature varying from -17.5 degree to 27.5 degree with land area of 50 ha. Residential area, Nechung, is located at an altitude of 4010m above mean sea level with land Area of 7.22 ha.
