The proposed Likhu-IV HEP is accessible from Kathmandu via Arniko Highway upto Lamosangu and from Lamosangu toward Jiri upto the Busti Bridge on Tamakoshi River along Lamosangu-Jiri Highway. It is 150 km long paved road. From Busti Bridge, 20 km long fair weather gravel road reaches upto Kirnetar, where the Khimti-I HEP power station is located. NEA has aimed to survey, investigate and design the access road from kirnetar to the proposed Likhu IV project, which is estimated to be 36 km long
