Project Description

The proposed Apartment Housing is a high-rise building situated in Dhapasi VDC of Kathmandu district. The total plot area of the project is 11185.03 sq.m. and the total built-up area 31778.95 sqm. There are 185 apartment units in 2 separate blocks. The number of floors are 14 floors including basement parking floors. The Apartment Housing complex’s estimated project cost is NRs. 980 million.

Assignment Description

Conduct detail survey and investigation of the present physical, biological and socio-economic condition of the proposed construction site. • Analyze environmental implications / impacts of community housing. • Identification of affected peoples with details including compensation and resettlement • Find out the positive or negative impacts on various environmental resources due to natural phenomenon and human activities during and after construction of the project • Identify and recommend measures for minimizing environmental impacts from proposed construction by employing principles of avoidance, mitigation, and controls • Socio-economic survey through FGD and Household survey • Identify the major issues that may result due to proposed works on the natural, physical and socio-economic and cultural and religious environment of the project area • Prepare detailed EMAP for the Project • Prepare project monitoring and auditing plan
