The project “Developing Capacities for Effective Aid Management and Coordination” is supporting the Government of Nepal through a comprehensive capacity development programme on a range of topics related to aid effectiveness. Specific trainings are tailored to the needs of concerned Government officials, to improve national capacity to negotiate and manage external resources in a more efficient way.
As part of the implementation of the new partnership approach in the management of foreign aid, Government officials are expected to lead a number of coordination mechanisms including the various development stakeholders. They are also expected to hold consultations on their programs and gather feedback from beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
There is a need to ensure that these meetings are conducted as efficiently as possible, and contribute to the achievement of development results.
