The overall objective of this project is to prepare a cost effective, elegant, and functional design of a bridge, appropriate to the conditions prevailing at the site in chitwan district. The work involves topographical survey of the area around bridge site and its geo-morphological, geological, geotechnical, hydrological studies followed by detailed design of the bridge, approach roads and river training works. The names, types and span of the bridges are as: (i) Chyatra Khola Bridge (L=11.20m; Span=1*10m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (ii) Magani Khola Bridge, (L= 16.20m; Span= 1*15m), Foundation Type: Open Foundation; (iii) Dhungre Khola Bridge, Gauwaghat (L=81.20m; Span= 2*40m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (iv) Pampha Khola Bridge (L= 31.20m; Span= 1*30m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (v) Than Khola Bridge (L=71.20m; Span=2*35m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (vi) Dhimile Khola Bridge (L= 16.20m; Span= 1*15m), Foundation Type: Open Foundation; (vii) Dhungre Khola Bridge, Kathar (L= 41.20m; Span= 1*40m), Foundation Type: Open Foundation; (viii) Jhawanighat Bridge, (L= 71.20m; Span= 2*35m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (ix) Rimal Khola Bridge (L= 26.2m; Span= 1*25m), Foundation Type: Pile Foundation; (x) Tunamuna Khola Bridge (L= 127.10m; Span= 3*40m), Foundation Type: Open Foundation.
