Assignment Description

The main tasks accomplished during the course of this study and report preparation are: • Collection and Review of Existing Documents and Literature includes land acquisition act, Land Reform act and other documents related to BGHEP etc. • Intensive field Level Study in Reservoir acquisition area • Identification of Potential resettlement development areas near by proposed Ring Road of BGHEP. • Geological study of Resettlement Potential areas and Geological mapping of Landslides. • Socio-economic study of proposed possible resettlement development Potential areas. • Environmental assessment of resettlement Potential areas. • Study on New areas for resettlement Development Plan • Study in Infrastructure Development • Study of Recreation and Entertainment Spots • Study on Safety and Hazard • Site Sustainability Analysis for Resettlement area • Implementation Arrangement for Resettlement plan. • Cost estimation and Economic Analysis. • Preparation of Resettlement Planning Report and Maps • Presentation of draft reports at Ilaka, District and Central Level. • Preparation and Submission of Final reports as per TOR.
