Project Description

The main objectives of the study as understood by the Consultant are to;
• Prepare the framework or implementation procedure for institutional and policy support for better water management and productivity

Assignment Description

Preliminary assessment of establishment of Central Water Resources Information Centre in WECS • Preparation of the preliminary implementation framework on • Establishment and operation of an Apex Monitoring Committee • Preparation of criteria and procedural guidelines for techno-economic clearance • Capacity building of WECS professionals • Establishment of River Basin Offices (RBO) and prepare its roles, responsibility and working procedure including legal and technical tools for water allocation amongst sectors
