Gap Study of Divisional Labs Eastern and Central Regions Under Department of Roads (DOR)

Project Description

Assessment of the prevailing condition of divisional labs was done and performed gap study for improvement of labs. Study and assessment of lab equipment including their operating conditions, calibration, efficiency, reliability, study the possibility of expansion of lab facilities to regional level, data collection of existing human resources including their qualification.

Assignment Description

The services provided included the following: • Study of prevailing quality policy. • Assessment of conditions of lab equipment. • Study of human resources carrying out lab activities. • Study of volume of works to be handled by the lab • Perform gap analysis based on prevailing data versus prevailing quality requirement and provide feedback and recommendation for effective and efficient ways for their improvement including the cost requirement.
