The road is located in Dhankuta District of Koshi Zone in Eastern Development Region. Bhedetar – Aahale – Baraha Chhetra Road originates from Bhedetar (260 51′ N, 870 19′ E) of the Koshi Highway (Dharan – Dhankuta Road) and passes through Mahabharat and Aahale Village Development Committee (VDC) (260 52′ N, 870 14′ E) of Dhankuta District and ends at Baraha Chettra (260 52′ N, 870 10′ E) of Sunsari District. The road passes through north and south flank of the ridge starting from Bhedetar. The total length is about 28.5 km. The proposed standard of road is District Road, single lane of 3.5 m, formation width of 5 m with earthen pavement at initial stage and will be graveled later.
The expected traffic will be around 25 vehicles per day. On completion, this road is expected to be continuation of Ranke – Raja Rani – Bhedetar road extending to Baraha Chhetra.
