Master Plan Preparation to enhance existing resort along with Earthquake Impact Assessment

Project Description

The resort is located near to Kathmandu in a peaceful place at higher elevation surrounded by the green forests with beautiful scenery to Kathmandu Valley or the surrounding. The Naikap Village Resort could be further developed as a hub for entertainment destinations and it quickly connects to the perfect combination of business and pleasure needs. Enhancement of the Resort is planned in various phases to extend its facilities upgrading existing structures, adding new facilities. Structural integrity of existing structures after the recent earthquakes and ensuring new construction are earthquake resistant for gaining confidence of the guests is also one of the goals.

Assignment Description

The consultant carried out the following services: • Study and review of the available information and documents including the pre-feasibility study of the Project • Collection of essential land and existing structures documents such as blueprints, Land ownership documents, building drawings etc. from the Client • Topographic Survey • Site measurements if essential in addition to the land survey and object measurements performed during pre-feasibility phase • Assess the access road network • Preparation of master plan • Preparation of Final 3D drawings • Processing for approval of Drawings from concerned authorities for construction • Earthquake Impact Assessment of the impact of the 7.8 richter scale earthquake that hit the resort including costing for the rehabilitation/demolition as required.
