Mid-term Evaluation of Ninth Five Year Plan and Recommendations for tenth Plan

The study was conducted to review and evaluate 9th Five Years Periodic Plan in all sectoral and national level and progress made so far as per annual plan of last three years and recommend measures to achieve the target for the remaining period of Plan besides suggesting approach and strategic direction for next plan i.e. tenth plan.

Assignment Description

Review of first three years of Ninth Plan • Data Collection from various government and non-government organizations for sectoral and macro level • Consultation with the sectoral agencies and analysis & preparation of sectoral level write up • Analysis of national Income Activities • Analysis of Government Financial Activity • Analysis of Cash Flow, Credit Situation and Prices • Analysis on Foreign Trade, Reimbursement Status and Foreign Currency Availability • Analysis on Poverty Alleviation and Employment Status • Situational Analysis of Public Corporation and Privatization • Analysis of Capital market • Analysis on Foreign Investment • Establishing Economic and Poverty Indicators • Overall infrastructure assessment (Physical) • Overall Socio-economic Assessment • Preparation of mid-term evaluation report including measures to be applied to achieve targets for the remaining period & suggestion for approach/concept for next plan (i.e. tenth plan)
