Assignment Description

1. Preparation of VDC Level Land Use Zoning Maps • Classification of various land use areas viz. agriculture, forest, grazing, built-up, industrial area, water body, public services area, culture and heritage area and others according to land capability, • Zoning of urban and suburban areas for achieving environmental balance in residential areas, • Sub-zoning of agricultural areas into optimum production sub-areas based on soil characteristics, land capability, irrigated and potential irrigable areas to increase the productivity of the land, • Classification of natural resources areas for conservation of forest, shrubs/herbs, river, rivulets, wetland and other natural resources. 2. Preparation of VDC Level Soil Maps • Preparation of soil map based on the characteristics and quality of soil for formulating VDC level land use plan incorporating agricultural area, forest area, grazing, built-up, industrial area, water body, public services area, culture and heritage area and others. • Identification and delineation of suitable area for development of urban and suburban areas for sustainability of environmental and provision of urban amenities/services. • Sub-division of agricultural areas into optimum production sub-areas based on characteristics, land capability, irrigated and potential irrigable areas to increase productivity of the land. • Identification and delineation of natural resources areas for conservation of forest, shrubs/herbs, river, rivulets, wetland and other natural resources. 3. Preparation of VDC Level Land Capability Maps • Preparation of land capability maps based on the characteristics and quality of soil for formulating VDC level land use plan incorporating agricultural area, forest area, grazing, built-up, industrial area, water body, public services area, culture and heritage area and others. • Identification and delineation of suitable area for development of urban and suburban areas for sustainability of environmental and provision of urban amenities/services. • Sub-division of agricultural areas into optimum production sub-areas based on soil characteristics, land capability, irrigated and potential irrigable areas to increase the productivity of the land. • Identification and delineation of natural resources areas for conservation of forest, shrubs/herbs, river, rivulets, wetland and other natural resources. 4. Preparation of VDC Profile for Land Use Zoning • Preparation of VDC profile for all seven VDCs to include the current state of socio-economy, demography, environment, history, culture, heritage, land resource, agriculture, forest, cattle and others. • Preparation of VDC profile for preparation appropriate database system for land classification of various areas e.g. agriculture, forest, pasture, built-up, industrial area, water body, public services, cultural and heritage areas and others to implement district level land use projects. • Preparation of VDC profile for preparation of database for zoning of urban and suburban areas for provision of basic urban facilities and for achieving environmental balance in residential areas. • Preparation of VDC profile for agriculture related database by sub-zoning agricultural area into relatively lucrative areas according to soil quality, land capability, irrigated area etc. for increasing productivity. • Preparation of VDC profile for preparation of natural resource database for the proper conservation of forest, bushes, river, rivulets, wetland and other natural resources. 6. Superimpose of Cadastral Map • Superimpose the cadastral map on Land use Zoning Map of Corresponding VDC. • Analyzed the Land covered on land use zone classifying the personnel, government land by Superimpose of cadastral map. • Prepared the database for Land use project by Superimpose of cadastral map.
