Inland Clearance Depot (ICD) plays an important role in improving the situation by facilitating speedy customs clearance, quarantine inspections and storage facilities. As a major north-south and east-west corridors intersect in Kathmandu Valley, the CFS is intended to serve as an ICD with bonded area. The Government has received under Nepal India Regional Trade and Transport Project (NIRTTP) a loan of USD 15.5 million to design and build a CFS serving as an ICD in Kathmandu. Total Project Cost NRs. 2,177.99 million.
• Part 1:Detail survey, consultation, assessment, environmental and social screening, and preparation of master plan for CFS and IEV
• Part 2: Detail Design of complete CFS/ICD infrastructures including connectivity, power, water supply and Sanitation, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Social Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan.
