Er. Thakur P Sharma (Managing Director)

Er. Sharma has been associated with the company since 2004 as Principal Engineer, Executive Director and currently as Managing Director. He holds a Master’s Degree in Water Resource Engineering from Tribhuwan University, Nepal and Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Kakatiya University, Regional Engineering College, Warangal, India. As a dynamic leader, he possesses strength of character, organizational ability, mature judgment and excellent communication skills which helps in meeting the professional as well as organizational challenges giving an edge in the extremely competitive Consulting Services’ market. He has a broad vision and has made exemplary changes in the organization, introduced new management techniques to enhance productivity and quality of services and has been responsible for institutional strengthening of the organization. He is also responsible for international and national business development, networking and associations. On the professional side, he has approx. 31 years of professional experiences in different capacities from national and international perspectives covering project planning and implementation, monitoring related to infrastructure (railways, highways/roads, urban, hydropower, water supply & sanitation, water resources, irrigation, local development etc.). Before joining the company, he worked for Government of Nepal as a Civil Engineer in the field of Water, irrigation for about 16 years. Since joining FBC, he has been providing his expertise, skills and knowledge in projects undertaken by the firm in the various areas of Water resource as Team Leader / Water Resources Engineer / Irrigation Expert / Hydrologist / Sector Expert / River Engineer etc. On the management side he provides input as Project Director / Project Coordinator for large infrastructure projects in roads, irrigation, railways, urban development and cross-cutting issues. As a MD of the company he is responsible for overall administration, human resource development & management, finance & contracts, business development and project management along with day-to-day office operations.

Er. Manjul K. Manandhar

Er. Manandhar is the Director-Infrastructure, Social & Environment at Full Bright Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. He directs and manages the operational activities of the Infrastructure, social and environmental projects within Nepal being implemented by FBC and provides technical resources to the Business Development and Management team to support infrastructure, social and environmental project procurement and deliveries. The Infrastructure business covers civil & environmental engineering, survey services, underground development, urban transportation, Social and Environmental Studies, Construction Supervision and Project Management services. He has been working with FBC since 2004. He holds M.E. in Infrastructure Management and Planning from Yokohama National University, Japan, M.E. in Environmental Engineering from Osaka Sangyo University, Japan and B.E. in Civil Engineering, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has more than 23 years’ experience in the infrastructure, social and environmental industry and is a member of Nepal Engineering Council, Nepal Engineers’ Association and Association Overseas Technical Society, Japan. He has an impressive career in Environmental Engineering & Environmental Management, Infrastructure development and urban planning related field. He is well familiar with Planning, Designing, IEE, EIA, and EMAP requirements including social, economic, environmental and community aspects for infrastructure sectors, as required by the Acts, regulations and guidelines of the government, and bilateral and multilateral client/donor agencies. He is evolved in a number of infrastructure, environment and planning projects and has presented in a number of forums. His keen interest in the use of GIS for urban planning worth noting. His experience in Japanese universities and companies has made him abreast with the latest technological advances in the Engineering field. He has good communication skills and is well conversant with in different languages. Some of his key projects are Road traffic improvement works, planning, design & supervision for Yokohama City, Planning of Solid Waste Disposal System in Kathmandu, Led various Socio-economic Surveys, District Transport Master Plan Updating for 16 Districts of Nepal and various other Feasibility Studies/Detailed Engineering Design/Construction Supervision of Roads, Railways and Hydropower Projects undertaken by FBC as Team Leader/Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor/Associate Director/Urban Planner/ Environment Engineer/ Civil Engineer / / Environment cum Bio-Engineering Specialist.

Mr. Min Bahadur KC

Mr. KC has been involved with the firm since 1998. He holds a Graduate Degree in Humanities. With over 30 years in the company, he has been a key person and a go-getter in the company, acting as Managing Director from 1998 till 2015, and then as Director-Administration and Management. During his tenure, he has been responsible for Office Administration, Human Resources & Logistics management, Business development and management, proposal preparation, contract administration and management, Project operation and management of various project undertaken by firm. During his tenure in the company, he has been actively involved in performing activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities utilizing FBC’s resources and experience base in public as well as private sector within Nepal. He actively participates in planning efforts with other members of the Business Development Team. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining close ties with donor, client, vendors and resource persons. He has been evaluating market conditions, prepare proactive plans for project bidding and acquisition, and develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve objectives and determine commercial viability of potential projects and aid in bidding/business decisions. In the Business Development team, he directs, in coordination with the MD, in preparation of proposals, and determine appropriate technical and contractual approach consistent with the organization’s objectives. He also is involved in developing action plans for project implementation and facilitate project implementation by participating as part project management team. During project implementation, he is key in establishing business/market segment strategies to achieve the objectives and increase client satisfaction. For this purpose, he lead a multi-disciplinary team of more than 100 staff in FBC in coordination with the MD. He also organizes and leads project teams consisting of various support groups in order to respond effectively to unique project cases during project implementation. Apart from the above, Mr. KC is engaged in Human Resource Management including providing guidance and training to staff, establish standards, manage and document performance, and develop associated recommendations., negotiate commercial features and arrangements with potential business partners, vendors, staff, resource persons and internal groups while effectively representing the organization.
